After many years of lobbying the new lifts are almost ready to open and the latest date we have is 16th June 2014. The platform and exits have been resurfaced while the ticket office has been completely refurbished. Reports that the existing exit stairways are to be closed proved to be wrong and they will be repainted when funds become available.

It'll be great to have a nice new station for the ever growing number of commuters and good to get our car park back.
