Amendment to Tap O Noth Community Council Constitution
The addition of the clause given below was discussed :
“3.1.1 Provided that the Community Council has a maximum of two places available for Community Councillors who do not reside in the Community Council Area and
are permanently employed, or carry out regular self-employed work or voluntary work in the Area of the Community Council; or
own a business in the Area of the Community Council.
3.1.2 In terms of 3.1.1 above a Community Councillor who does not reside in the Community Area cannot be a serving community councillor of another community council”
Paul Manning proposed that the clause be inserted into the constitution. George Beverly seconded this. All Community Councillors were in agreement.
