Matters Arising:
Planning Guidelines This was approved by the members and will be forwarded to Janelle Clark Marr Area Manager for her approval.
Kennethmont Bench: Secretary has contacted Sandy Grant asking why the bench
has not been replaced
Presentation by Oliver Giles: Unfortunately Oliver was unable to attend but has agreed to come along to a future meeting.
Police Report: There were no incidents reported in the Tap O Noth area
The following issues were brought to the attention of the officers
- A light at Milton O Noth Cottages shines on to the A97 blinding motorists
- Speeding into Rhynie: Members were advised to report to police giving the registration number and speed recorded.
- Concerns were raised about the use of double decker buses. This was discussed and thought to be the safest option due to the number of children travelling to The Gordon Schools and would be the most cost effective

Correspondence
- Huntly Sports Vision/Community Sports Hub: HDDT are applying for funds to help various sports groups in the AB54 area and have sent a request asking Tap O Noth Community Council if they will write a letter of support A letter has been sent
- Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband Introductions
Enquiries’ regarding service goes through the service provider

- Vattenfall Clashindarroch Community Conversation:
After further discussion members agreed to sign the memorandum of understanding when the following points have been resolved
4.4 Use of Funds:
1. We feel that the 5% annual fund disbursed to the community council should not be limited to £250 per application but that members should have the right to prioritise and award grants.
2. Funds should not be ring fenced but be open and transparent
- A request for Community Councils view: Lynne agreed to complete the survey sent from the Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice University of Strathclyde and send it to members for their approval before submitting
- Natasha Pawlukiewicz –Various (Noted)
- Planning Aid Scotland: Interest has been noted and details to follow
- Due to health issues James Grant has resigned from the Community Council. James has been an active member for the past 12 years serving as a member for Gartly and latterly Kennethmont. He was also a trustee on the Glens Wind Farm Fund. Secretary will send a thank you letter
- Peter will attend the next meeting of the Glens Wind Farm Fund

Alistair reported that the boulders had been removed from the Suie Hill
Gartly:
Potholes on the Kirkney road
Branches overhanging the bus stop at Gartly James will trim them back
Network rail has still not repaired the fence near the rail track
Kennethmont:
Contact Sandy Grant regarding the bench
Rhynie
Trees in the square require trimming
20mph lights at the school are flashing continuously
Potholes on the carriageway along the side of the square near Fourteen
Request to add a rail o the bridge crossing the Bogie at Daluaine George and Neil will check this out
AOCB:
1. Members will present WW1 Coins to local primary and nursery school children

One letter of interest has been received
It was decided to approach the history department at The Gordon Schools, advertise in Noth News and the website.
3. Mosswood
£4000 has been allocated by Aberdeenshire Council to drain the playing field along side the Mosswood boundary; this should be completed by March 2015
Rhynie Woman intend planting sustainable trees at the opposite side of the playing field
