Sêdd Wag / Vacant Seat
Yn dilyn etholiadau lleol yn 2012, roedd tri o bob wyth sêt ar y Cyngor Cymuned heb eu llenwi. Er mwyn llenwi’r seddi gwag, fe gyfotheledig dau Gynghorydd yn syth ar ol yr etholiad, ond ar y pryd hwnnw roedd cyfansoddiad y Cyngor yn nodi na dylai mwy na 25% o gynghorwyr gael eu pennu yn y ffordd hyn, felly roedd un sêt yn wag.
Yn ddiweddar mae’r Cyngor wedi diweddaru y cyfansoddiad ac mae nawr yn caniatâu i dri cynghorwr gael ei gyfethol. Yn dilyn hyn mae’r Cyngor nawr yn gwahodd ceisiadau am y trydydd sêdd wag. Os yw’n cael ei gyfethol bydd y Cynghorwr yn gwasanaethu ar y Cyngor tan mis Mai 2016 pan fydd yr etholiadau nesaf.
Dylai pawb sydd â diddordeb, ac eisiau cael eu cysidro ar gyfer y sêdd wag geisio trwy lythyr i Glerc y Cyngor Cymuned yn y cyfeiriad isod. Dylai’r llythyr fod yn swta ac yn egluro pam y dylai’r ceisiwr gael ei gysidro a pa sgiliau a phrofiad y byddant yn dod i’r rôl. Dylai ceiswyr gyrraedd yr un cymhwysterau ac ymgeiswyr sydd yn sefyll mewn etholiad. Am fwy o wybodaeth ar hyn, cysylltwch â’r Clerc os gwelwch yn dda.
Following the local elections in 2012, three out of eight seats on the Community Council were unfilled. To fill these vacancies, two councillors were co-opted immediately following the election but at that time the constitution of the Council prevented more than 25% of councillors being appointed in this way so one seat remained vacant.
The Council has recently updated its constitution and this now allows up to three councillors to be co-opted. Accordingly the Council now invites applications for the third vacancy. If co-opted the Councillor will serve on the Council until May 2016 when the next elections are due.
All those who are interested in being considered for these vacancies should apply, by letter, to the Clerk to the Community Council at the address below. Letters of application should be brief and should explain why applicants wish to be considered and what skills and experience they could bring to the role.
