Community Presentation
The first community presentation took place on the evening of Wednesday 13th of July 2022 to introduce the community to this next phase of the Nantglyn community facilities project.

The design strategy that has led to the initial concept proposals, based on the outcomes of the previous Phase II Feasibility Study was outlined and the early design ideas for a potential new build on the Church House site presented.
Just over 30 members of the community attended, with an encouraging level of engagement and questions and overall support for the proposals.
This early concept design is soon to be submitted to Denbighshire County Council for a pre-application planning enquiry, to determine the likelihood of a scheme of this nature being supported at full planning stage.

Nantglyn Community Building Project
As you may know, with the Support of the Community Council and Cadwyn Clwyd, a study is currently being undertaken to consider the feasibility of providing the community of Nantglyn with an up to date community facility. This builds upon a previous community consultation and feasibility study in September 2019, which identified two potential sites for such a facility.
The focus of this study is to get to understand the community’s needs in more detail and to use that information to develop a feasibility study that’s reflective of what the community of Nantglyn needs.

In 2020 Cadwyn Clwyd and Nantglyn Community Council commissioned Cynlas Cyf and Dewis Architecture to undertake a “second phase” feasibility study, building upon the work undertaken in 2019. This work was commissioned to further consider the two options, and offer the most appropriate and feasible route forward for the community.

Cadwyn Clwyd, in partnership with Nantglyn Community Council have commissioned a community consultation to look at existing facilities and provision, establishing the requirements of the local community.
