Merger plans for Community Councils in the Bonnyrigg area - Update
Following approval of the merger between Poltonhall and Hopefield & Bonnyrigg and Laswade Community Councils, discussions on the details of merger are continuing to agree the Constitution and Aims for the new Bonnyrigg and District Community Council (BDCC).The Constitution then has to be approved by the Councils Legal Department.
It is hoped that the first meeting of BDCC will take place in mid September.
The new website for BDCC is currently under construction.
