Welcome to Alloa Central Community Council.

Alloa is the main town in Clackmannanshire.  It is situated in Central Scotland, 45 minutes from Glasgow and 45 minutes from Edinburgh.  In close proximity with Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport.  Alloa is deep in history with Alloa Tower being visited by Mary Queen of Scots.

We have been running for 34 years, where community councillors have come and gone.  We have recently become more pro-active in our work in helping our communities.  We have had major successes in the past and this year is no exception.

Alloa is part of Clackmannanshire Council.  Our motto is "Look Aboot Ye", and the communities of Clackmannanshire are proud of their motto.  We have the Ochil Hills on one side and the River Forth on the other.

Alloa Town Hall is the main building of Alloa.  This was a gift given to Alloa by the Patons family.  Also presented to the people of Alloa was the Spiers Centre and Patons Pavillion.

Alloa Central Community Council provides a go between with Clackmannan Council and Members of the Public along with Public Bodies.  For further information, have a look inside.
