The latest information indicates that Shanks intend to submit a planning application for an anaerobiv digester on land at Mamhilad opposite the old ICI site. However land near this site is deemed suitable for housing development in the Torfaen DLP. This could lead to a re-run of the Pontyfelin lane saga of attempting to site a smally waste plant near to new housing development.Will the Shanks/Rechem curse never be lifted from New Inn??
