The Aneurin Bevan Health Board is proposing to close the minor injuries unit at the County Hospital,Panteg and transfer services to Nevill Hall or the Royal Gwent in Newport. The reasons for closure relate to its under use and that many of its services could be accessed at local GP practices whilst more complex clinical needs would be best met the District General Hospitals.Consultatons are to take place.
