A stone clad fish pass /ladder is to be constructed at the Pontymoile Weir on the Afon Lwyd to enable fish to reach the upper reaches of the river to breed.This is intended to greatly encourage the fish, especially salmon and sea trout population to grow over the years.It is hoped that the river will eventually support a self sustaining salmon and sea trout population.
