T-mobile are seeking planning permission to erect a mobile phone radio mast at the Teazer Public House on the Highway, New Inn!! The mast would be 12metres high with 3 shrouded antennas together with radio equipment cabinets.The company claim that :

"a detailed survey of the area identified that there were few willing land owners with sites of a sutiable nature for telecommunications development. Accordingly T-Mobile will need to find a site where they can legally exist whilst remaining the least intrusive yet practical solution to area coverage. Given these parameters a site at the Teazer pub remains relatively screened byadjacent trees  and the Public House Building The proposed installation has been designed to be a small height to avoid vsual detraction of the local area whilst remains tall enough to avoid coverage obstruction from nearby buildings"
