A82 Tarbet to Crianlarich. Overnight Road Closures for 5 nights from Sunday 11th September 2011 

Users of the A82 trunk road between Tarbet and Crianlarich are set to benefit from a Transport Scotland investment of £20,000 in safety improvement and drainage works.

The works which are to be carried out by Scotland TranServ, on behalf of Transport Scotland, get underway on Sunday 11th September 2011 for a period of 5 nights, utilising night time road closures between the hours of 10pm and 6am Sunday night to Thursday night. 

The road will be closed between the A82/ A83 Junction Tarbet, and the A82/A85 junction Crianlarich, with emergency and local access maintained.

The work starts from the A82/A85 junction Crianlarich and extends to the A82/ A83 junction Tarbet.

This scheme is part of the commitment by Transport Scotland to maintain and improve the Trunk Road network. The works involve drainage improvements and High Friction Surfacing.. 

Motorists should allow extra time for their journeys and pay attention to any advisory signs which will be in place throughout the works.
