Midlothian Community Safety and Justice Partnership
The primary aim of the Midlothian Community Safety and Justice Partnership is to reduce reoffending and to make our community safer.
From 1st April 2017, the new Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016 means that planning and decisions can be made involving local people who know their area best.
Community Justice is a way of preventing and reducing crime, ensuring people feel part of their community and reaffirming the value of being a good citizen.
One of the methods activated to determine the way forward is by engaging with residents in our county through an online survey – the collated results will help shape the process and it is important that everybody participates.
