UPDATE - 13th June 2018 Banks Development have now submitted Planning Application to Midlothian Council - (18/00403/DPP) Erection of 100 dwellinghouses; formation of access roads and car parking and associated works | Site Hs14 Rosewell North Rosewell.
Banks Development are proposing 120 new family homes on land occupying the 12.6 acre ‘Doctor’s Field’, north of Carnethie Street. This development is expected to provide three, four and five bedroom family homes to affordable starter homes. Banks Property is hoping that construction can commence in late 2017, subject to planning permission being granted.
The project will follow up on the successful neighbouring Roselea development of 63 homes, realised through a partnership between Banks Property and Miller Homes.
An exhibition will take place at Rosewell Development Trust 85 Carnethie Street, Rosewell, EH24 9AN, on Wednesday 15th February from 1 pm until 7 pm, which will give local people the opportunity to learn about the scheme and ask any questions.
