A recent freedom of information request to Torfaen CBC on Councillors attendance between 2012 and the present time has revealed some suprising if not shocking statistics.Whlist Cllr Ray Mills has recorded an 88% attendance record, his colleagues have not faired so well. Cllr Ketih James was absent 74 times out of 91 possible meetings (absence rate of 81%). Likewise Cllr Graham Smith missed 45 out of the possible 68 meetings he was required to attend(absence rate of 66%)

Clearly 2 of  our councillors have shown an ability to write newsletters but a distinct reluctance to attend meetings to represent us for which they well paid! Can anyone think of any new community ammenities or facilities they have provided for New Inn?
