A recent proposal to site a very tasll telecommunications mast in the heart of New Inn between the school playing fields and Woodfiueld Road has been withdrawn due to a lack of proper consultation. The mast which would dominate the local would be a huge eyesore and a blot on the landscape if allowed to go ahead. Representation by the local Labour Party has resulted in a halt to things for the moment. What this space!
