On Wednesday 5th March  an awards evening was held at the  New Panteg RFC to present cheques to local New Inn community organisations to support their work. A total of £6000 was distributed amongst groups which included: Scous, Guides, Brownies, Cubs,Panteg Public Hall, New Inn FC, New Panteg RFC, South Pontypool Sports Association, New Inn Junior and Youth FC, Sonic After School Club, Sunbeams, ew Inn Pensioners and others. Local Torfaen Borough councillors thanked all those who were involved in these orghanisation for their hard work and committment.
