On Wednesday evening 6th February, young people from Panteg and New Inn were presented with acheivement awards by the Mayor of Torfaen Mr Bill King and Cllrs John Turner, Maurice Morgan and Gwillam Evans. The awards were for achievements gained at the annual youth camp at Newgale, Pembrokeshire last summer. In addition recognition was given to members of the Youth Service and local Police who helped organise the camp and the wide range of outdoor activities which were offered to our local youngsters.
