Last friday evening a large group of over 20 youths, who had been drinking, caused an incident outside the chip shop on the Highway. Earlier they had been moved on from the Panteg RFC Club House. Police acted swiftly, conviscating all their alcohol and returning several New Inn youths to their homes with warnings to parents . The rest were identified as youngsters from outside the area ( Abersychan and Trevethin)and were dispersed with warnings.
