Shanks waste Solutions is to appeal against the decision of Torfaen CBc to refuse planning consent for a waste disposal plant on their Pontyfelin site.The plans were refused on the grounds that the plant design was not fully adequate to prevent odours from reaching nearby housing.The new Redrow estate makes this  even more of an issue.
