New Inn branch Labour Party has selected its candidates to fight the 2012 Torfaen CBC and Pontypool Community Council Elections next year.

To Fight the 3 Torfaen Council seats the labour candidates will be : JOHN TURNER, MARIAN WILLIAMS AND MAURICE MORGAN

Selected for the Pontypool Community Council are:

Upper New Inn: John Garwell and Danny Coles

Lower New Inn: Amy Tucker and Marian Williams

The Chairman of the local Labour Party branch said that 'the Party had selected candidates with experience and a long track record of representing the people of New Inn and had achieved much for the community over many years prior to 2008'.
