In 2024 Strathconon Estate will be felling woodlands at the Yacht Club in Scardroy.
The felling will be carried out in 2 stages:
1. 22nd January and will finish on the 1st March 2024
2. 1st August 2024 and expect completed by February 2025.
The break in felling works is to ensure the resident breeding bird population is not disturbed during their important breeding season.
The timber haulage will be under strict restrictions to minimise disturbance to the local communities.
• Timber haulage is restricted to 6 loads per day.
• No convoy working (minimum of 20 mins between lorries).
• No haulage traffic of any kind between the hours of:
o 8.30am - 9.30am Monday to Thursday
o 2.45pm - 3.45pm
o 8.30am - 9.30am Fridays.
o 12.15pm - 1.15pm
