Welcome to the Denholm & District Community Council website

The object of this website is to aid communication between the Community Council and the residents of Denholm and District situated in the Scottish Borders. It is still in its infancy and in the process of being developed (April 2012) but parts of it, especially agendas and minutes, are operative as is the calendar of events and meetings. It is not designed - at this stage at least - as a visitor information site, being solely dedicated to the community and its people.

MEETINGS - Following the resignation of one of your Community Councillors, the present Council now contains fewer than the minimum required under the Constitution. Consequently no further meetings can be held until after an election process has been held under the auspices of the Scottish Borders Council.
