NOTICE OF ELECTION

1. An election is to be held of the number of Community Councillors specified in each case below for the said wards respectively:

NANTGARW WARD

1 COUNCILLOR

2. Nomination papers may be delivered on any day after the date of this notice, but not later than 4pm on Thursday 28th APRIL 2016 to Unit 2, Maritime Business Park, Pontypridd.

3. Forms of nomination papers may be obtained at Unit 2, Maritime Business Park, from the undersigned, who will, at the request of any elector, prepare a nomination paper for signature.

1. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on

Thursday 26th MAY 2016

5. Electors and their proxies should take note that to be effective for this election:-

New applications to vote by post or for amendments to or for the cancellation of existing postal or postal proxy vote records must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Unit 2 Maritime Business Park, Pontypridd CF37 1NY not later than 5pm on Wednesday 11th May 2016.

New applications to vote by proxy or to change or cancel an existing proxy vote (except: postal proxies and emergency proxies) must be received not later than 5pm on Wednesday 18th May 2016.

New applications to vote by proxy on grounds of emergency must be received not later than 5pm on Thursday 26th May 2016.
