CAN YOU HELP?

 Rhian Davies the Communication and Events intern at GE Aviation Wales has submitted the following request for information

“This year we will be celebrating 75 Years at the Nantgarw facility and would like to create a video to showcase to our employees during a celebration event.

British Airways first moved to the site in 1940 during the war and was later acquired by GE, consequently a lot of the archive media and information we have here are from this acquisition in 1991. I am emailing to find out if you have any information or history from around the 1940's onwards of the site at Nantgarw?

We are hoping to source some photographs and media of the site from its inception in order to create a video celebrating the site. We would also like to find out if 
there is someone who worked at the site when it first opened who would be willing to be interviewed.

If you are able to source any of the above I would greatly appreciate it if you could send through the details required/process of getting access to the above.
