PLANNING APPLICATION REFERENCE: 13/0967/13 

LAND AT SOUTH WALES FORGEMASTERS LTD, GARTH WORKS, TAFFS WELL, CARDIFF CF15 7RA

I am writing to OBJECT to the above planning application.

If approved, it will lead to the loss of valuable industrial employment land which can never be replaced. This will lead to a major loss of jobs and income which in turn will affect many of the local businesses and families in Taff’s Well, Nantgarw and the surrounding area.

We need to preserve the Industrial Estate – and the businesses that are located there - to ensure there is an adequate supply of future employment land and jobs for years to come.

Furthermore, this development will have an overbearing impact on our community, placing excessive pressures on the local infrastructure including the schools, health centres and other services.

I urge the Planning Committee to REFUSE this application.
