NEW PLANNING APPLICATION SUBMITTED FOR RHIW'R DDAR

Following representations from the Community Council and local residents a controversial planning application to develop 6 houses on land to the rear of 58-61 Rhiw'r Ddar was refused planning permission.

At the time we thought that the applicant would appeal this decision to the Welsh Assembly Government's planning inspectorate but they have chosen instead to put in a fresh application for 4 houses. Whilst this application is, in many ways, an improvement over the last on we still remain concerned that the development will the development will mean the loss of  ‘public open space’ and will inform the Planning officer of our stance on this matter,
