Water network replacement on Cardiff Road

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is currently looking at investment works to upgrade the water network in Cardiff Road, Taffs Well.

This work is currently in the planning stages but it involves replacing 400 metres of old water pipe with a new plastic one from the graveyard on Cardiff Road to the junction with Moy Road.

They are hoping to agree access with the highways department to carry out these essential upgrades in March or April this year however, we will let you know as soon as we have a definite start date.

The scheme will need to use temporary two way traffic lights for the duration of the scheme which we anticipate will take approximately ten weeks to complete
