TY RHIW PLAYGROUND TO BE SOLD
RCT County Borough Council has given notice of its intention to dispose of the playground on Cemetery Road Ty Rhiw.
The Community Council had campaigned for the restoration of the playground but the County say that they have insufficient funds to refurbish it.
The Community Council has been informed that it is proposed to sell the land, by competitive tender, and that the use would be for a small housing development.
Residents have until the 23 December 2011 to raise any objections to the disposal of the land.
