The Taff’s Well Allotments and Community Garden Scheme has developed a Newsletter which it is hoped will inform Members and the general public about the activities it undertakes within our community.
Despite the Community Council making available addition land more allotment space is needed as all of the new plots have new been taken up by local residents. However, there are still opportunities available to “grow your own” vegetables in the Community Garden section.
In reviewing progress on the scheme Councillor Jill Bonetto, Chairman of the Community Council stated:-“It is pleasing to note how successful this partnership has been and the tremendous progress that has been made in turning what could be described as waste land into a beneficial asset for our community”
