LOCAL BUSINESSMEN RECEIVE TOP AWARD
Congratulations to local businessmen Mike & Dave Beese who recently collected both the RCT Business of the Year Award and the RCT Business Award for Innovation on behalf of their companies, DecTek Ltd and Dectag Ltd. This caps a great start to the year following the winning of the prestigious HOVIP Award for Innovation.
Based at the Treforest Industrial Estate and in Malaga, Spain - the companies specialize in hi-end digital print and resin encapsulation which in turn produces domed branding products and name badges for customers all over Europe who include: Transport for London, Land Rover, PC World and Saatchi & Saatchi. The recent formation of Dectag has led to four patented processes and products released into the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) industry and with customers already including: Ge Healthcare, IBM and Swiss food giant – Migros; plans are already being laid to produce in Boston, USA. Younger brother, John keeps the local family business connection going by running the 4th largest retail Trophy and Awards outlet in the UK from Taff`s Well. The boys all served their rugby apprenticeship by playing for Taff`s Well RFC and continue to sponsor the Senior, Youth, Junior and Mini sections.
