New Computer facilities for Ty Rhiw Community Centre

The Community Council has been pleased to provide grant aid to the Ty Rhiw Community Centre to refurbish and upgrade six computers donated by the County Council’s Lifelong Learning Department.

The refurbishment together with up-to-date software and printing facilities will enable the Community Centre to provide a range of computer courses including; Desktop Publishing, Digital Imaging/ Photoshop, and IT Office skills. As the computers are networked it will also be able to provide courses on how to use the internet plus range of specialist programmes.

This project is again an example of what can be achieved through the partnership arrangements advocated by the Community Council.
