The installation of the new BMX track is finally underway and should be fully operational within the next few days. It will provide a safe environment for young people practice their BMX skills and should relieve some of the nuisance problems caused by young people setting up “ramps” in the streets.

 

The scheme, located opposite Ty Rhiw Cemetery,  jointly funded by the Community and County Council, is an example of what can be achieved when organisations agree to work together to provide local facilities.  Hopefully, this will be the first of many joint ventures aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents.
