The Welsh Assembly Government recently presented awards to individuals who have made a significant contribution to “Helping People in Difficult Situations” within their communities and one of the first recipients of this prestigious award was the Community Council’s current Chairman Mrs. Cynthia Dyke MBE. The award was presented at Caerphilly Castle by the First Minister for Wales Rhodri Morgan.
