Gas Safety warning

CHECK THAT YOUR GAS INSTALLER IS QUALIFIED

On April 1 2009 the Gas Safe Register replaced the CORGI scheme as Britain’s gas safety authority. CORGI registrations are therefore no longer valid and you shouldn’t let anyone with a Gorgi ID carry out work on gas installations or appliances. Registered engineers will now carry a Gas Safe Register ID card with a unique licence number featuring the yellow Gas Safe Register logo.

Before you have any work done, make sure you check the card.  To find a Gas safe engineer see www.gassaferegister.co.uk or call 0800 408 5500
