New Sea Wall update
Work on the new sea wall is programmed to start on 7th January 2008.
Scottish Borders Council are currently finalising a design on strengthening the existing concrete barrier at the toe of the slope and constructing the roadway which will form part of this scheme.
It is anticipated that this scheme will follow on from the sea wall construction which is due to finish early April 2008.
Funding for all these works has been secured.
Scottish Borders Council intend speaking to the local Community re the strengthening works and new roadway once drawings are available.
SBC are liaising with Scottish Water re their proposed sewer upgrade.
