The commemoration for the 125th Anniversary of the 14th October 1881 fishing disaster which claimed 24 Burnmouth fishermen. This was celebrated on Sunday 15th October in Burnmouth Church and down the brae. The lifeboat stood off the shore and Margaret Driscoll laid a rose on to the sea for each man which bore their name age and boat. This was relayed via the Coastguard ship to shore PA system
