Users of the A828 at the south approach to the Connel Bridge are set to benefit from a Transport Scotland investment of £20,000 in carriageway maintenance works. The works will be carried out by Scotland Transerv on behalf of Transport Scotland.
The works are programmed to be carried out between 10pm and 6am for one night, Wednesday 2nd November, 2011. For the safety of the public and our workforce this single lane carriageway will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians throughout the duration of the works.
Emergency services, Fire, Police. Ambulance and Coastguard will have access at all times while on emergency duties and they will be provided with a dedicated site mobile number.
