Minutes of meeting held at
Clatt Village Hall

Matters Arising:
· Flower were sent to Elma
· Report in Huntly Express re access to Tap O Noth Community Council website
· Rhynie Street lighting: All lights which were reported with a fault have been repaired except for two in Richmond Avenue which need further investigation
· Gartly Street Lighting: An inspection will be carried out to ascertain if the lighting needs renewing

Police Report:

No incidents of Note.
Periodic attention continues to be given to speeding issues and Kennethmont was targeted this month with eight motorists warned regarding excessive speed.
Following last months meeting police had spoken to the owners of two cars parked on the pavement on Bogie Road Rhynie and asked them to refrain from parking on the pavement
Various computer checks were made to identify the vehicle seen in the vicinity in relation to the oil thefts in Rhynie. However no match was found.

Planning Applications: No comment


Individual Area Reports

Secretary to contact council concerning the following outstanding issues
· Sign at Cottown this had been reported on 23rd September 2011
· Broom requires cutting on the Clatt road between Hillhead and Boghead road end.
Potholes on the Clatt road between West Lodge and Cushnie Farm
Both reported 27th September 2011

Gartly
· Press reported that a new bus shelter was to be built at the south side of Gartly Junction. Secretary to contact council to obtain more details.
Kennethmont

· Road surface in Kennethmont: Potholes and cracks in the road where the road had been dug up for various reasons require filling
Rhynie.
Remaining trees in the Square require trimming


AOCB:

· Tap O Noth Plinth: Awaiting plan which has to be submitted with the application
· Suie Hill: Replacement seats and addition of picnic table was discussed. Alistair and Paul to make more inquiries, outcome to be discussed at next meeting.
· Thomas Murray former secretary to Tap o Noth Community Council informed the council of his intention to stand as an SNP candidate at the forth coming local elections in May.
