RDT delivers a brand new project starting in May 2018

Our brand new upcycling sessions start NEXT MONTH! We have a session almost every month of the year up until December 2018. Bookings are now OPEN. They are suitable for children (over the age of 8) and adults!

We expect  huge demand for this FREE project so are opening it up to MEMBERS, SUPPORTERS and VOLUNTEERS first. Please see below for more information on dates, session themes and T&C’s – which has more information on timings and location etc. If you would like to book – please get in touch and I will send you a form.

BOOK A SPACE IN THIS BRAND-NEW GROUP TO TAKE PART IN FREE UPCYCLING SESSIONS.

Saturday 12th May:  You will create up to THREE upcycled home accessories – a photo frame, a plant pot and a storage box.

Saturday 23rd June:  Focusing on furniture, we will have a variety of units for you to make something unique for your home!

Saturday 28th July: We will be making two garden ornaments during this session. Plenty of resources and equipment for you to use.

Saturday 25th August: What to do with lots of old books! We will show you!

Saturday 8th September: Less plastic = fantastic! Start collecting plastic carrier bags, you will be amazed with what you can make.

Saturday 20th October: CHAIRS! We all need a good sit down sometimes, so why not sit down in a bespoke chair created by YOU! Everything provided.

Saturday 10th November: Christmas themed crafts during this session – book onto this to surprise your friends and family with what you have made!

Saturday 15th December: Make your own Christmas wreaths – there will be a selection of examples to choose from.

All these sessions are suitable for children (over the age of 8) and adults. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of spaces per session is 8.

A £5 refundable deposit (on arrival to the session) will be taken when booking, along with the completion of a booking form. Please email info@rdtrosewell.org.uk to request one. 

Staff will suggest ideas, provide creative input but it’s strongly suggested that before coming along to the course, you have researched ideas yourself as to what you would like to create!

All sessions will take place in the Rosewell Resource Centre between 10am – 2pm.
