Pharmacy Consultation
NHS Lothian have contacted RDCC regarding a new Pharmacy Application Proposal offering the full range of NHS pharmaceutical services within our proposed new community hub to be built on the steading site at the corner of Gorton Road/Carnethie Street.
Before a submission can be processed, regulations require that NHS Lothian and Light Pharmacy undertake a joint consultation with the residents who live in the area.
This consultation has two main purposes:
a) to assess the current provision of pharmaceutical services in the neighbourhood and whether it is adequate
and
b) to establish the level of support from residents in the neighbourhood for the application.
We would encourage you to participate in this joint consultation to show how crucial this service would be to our community (this was shown in a previous Community Consultation carried out in 2012).
The closing date for comments is 2nd November 2017
