Parking issues in Midlothian
Find out how Midlothian Council plans to tackle parking issues. Drop in to one of two sessions the council is holding on 11 April to explain what’s known as decriminalised parking.
This is a process for controlling parking and the issuing of fines (Penalty Charge Notices). It makes the offence a civil matter (dealt with by the council) rather than a criminal one (dealt with by the police).

The first session is at Penicuik Town Hall between 12:30 and 14:30 on Tuesday 11 April. The second session is on the same day at Dalkeith Arts Centre between 17:30 and 20:00.
