Volunteer Midlothian’s Midlothian Growing Together project has been shortlisted in the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme.
We need your help to vote for Midlothian Growing Together at your local Tesco!
Although open to all, Midlothian Growing Together particularly targets young people and adults with support needs to become volunteers; helping them gain confidence, skills and experience through developing the Community Garden in Dalkeith Country Park and allotment at Vogrie. The project serves as an example of sustainable gardening practises; using organic methods, recycled materials, compost from sustainable sources etc.
We will host Gardening workshops and Open Events in the Community Garden, ensuring the whole community can engage in, and benefit from the project.
