Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate Scottish Water utility works Carnethie Street will be closed between Nos 190 and 222 and Lindsay Circus will be closed from its junction with Carnethie Street to its junction with Lindsay Row. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 17 May 2022. The works are expected to take 13 days to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be via Gorton Road and A6094.
