Youth Volunteering: Volunteer Midlothian's Transform project provides young volunteers (14-20 years old) with fully supported and supervised group volunteering opportunities. One of these opportunities is our youth led Community Events Project. We are looking for Community Event Volunteers who would like to help plan, organise and host an event in our community garden in Dalkeith Country Park. Previous volunteers found this lots of fun and very rewarding! This is the perfect opportunity for young volunteers to see a project through from planning to delivery. Volunteers will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of planning, organising and promoting events and will join a small, weekly steering group to help organise the event. It will run every Tuesday 3.45-5pm from 8th February – 5th April 2022, with an Easter event taking place on Friday 8th April 13.30 – 15.30. It will take place in Volunteer Midlothian, 4-6 White Hart Street, Dalkeith & Community Garden, Dalkeith Country Park
