Women’s Support Workers x 1 

1 x 35-hour (Midlothian) Job Ref: WSW-1 contract ends 30.06.2023

This post attracts a Salary up to £23,310 per annum (pro rota)

(Salary scale:  £21,559 to £23,310 per annum pro rota)

We have a vacancy for an experienced support worker. We are looking for an enthusiastic feminist who shares our core values.  You will be expected to demonstrate a gender-based and trauma-informed approach to service delivery and will be expected to take a multi-agency approach to your work.  

Ideally candidates should have a minimum of 2 years work experience. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to a minimum of SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards a qualification to meet registration requirements of Housing Support Workers (SSSC). 

All posts are available on a fixed term basis.  Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential.
