World Book Night takes place this year on 23 April. Rosewell & District Community Council were successful in their application for books to distribute within the community. We have 80 copies of 'Stories to make you smile' available.
If you would like to nominate someone to receive a book please send me a PM with the person's name and address. We intend to deliver the books around 23-26 April.
We would like to prioritise people who are socially isolated, have been shielding, have underlying health problems or are elderly. They must live within EH24 postcode. Once priority residents have received a book we will offer any remaining books to the rest of the community. If there are a lot of applications we may need to have a ballot.
Some of the books will have special treats in them!!
