We are looking a Duty Support Worker to join our dynamic team.

This post attracts a Salary up to £23,310 per annum (pro rota)

(Salary scale:  £21,559 to £23,310 per annum pro rota)

We have a Part-Time job share vacancy (14 hours per week) for an experienced support worker within our team to deliver individual and group work support to women.  This role specifically will work in our duty service. 

We are looking for enthusiastic feminists who share our core values.  You will be expected to demonstrate a gender-based and trauma-informed approach to service delivery and will be expected to take a multi-agency approach to your work. 

Candidates ideally have a minimum of 2 years work experience within the violence against women or similar field. Membership of the PVG scheme is an essential requirement and you should be qualified to a minimum of SVQ 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.  You will be required to register with the SSSC as a Housing Support Worker.

This post is available on a fixed term until September 2021. Travel across East Lothian and Midlothian is required therefore a full current driving licence and constant access to a car is essential.
