Rosewell food bank is all ready for opening on Monday night at 17.30. The response to our community food bank has been truly overwhelming and I just wanted to say a big Thank You so much to everyone for their support - the village has been amazing!
Due to recent government legislation, we are not allowed residents to enter the church to browse the items, so if I could ask everyone that attends to bring a list with them of items that they require and we will do our best to provide these.
We have some fresh produce that will need to be given away on Monday night so even if you don’t require essentials at this stage, please pop along for some apples, potatoes, butternut squash or bananas.
We have large containers of fairly liquid and some laundry detergent, if you require this, please bring your old bottle and we will fill this up for you.
- Food Bank opens every Mon and Thurs 17.30-19.30
- Please provide any further donations to the church at the above opening times or contact us to collect. Ash at the local corner shop is also a drop off point.
- Please bring a shopping list with you or message us with it and we will have it ready for pick up.
- Please contact us directly if you are required to have a food parcel delivered due to self-isolation.
