The By-Election for the election of one Member for Oban North and Lorn Ward of Argyll and Bute Council will take place on Thursday 3rd November 2011.
The Oban North and Lorn Ward includes the towns of Oban, Taynuilt and Dalmally with a total electorate of around 7,600 people.
Nominations
Nominations closed at 4.00pm on Wednesday 12th October 2011. Polling will take place between the hours of 7am and 10pm on Thursday 3 November 2011 for the election of one councillor for the Oban North and Lorn electoral ward. Candidates validly nominated are:
